2Hot2Handle wins Autonomy Regatta in the ANC class
Luís Decq Mota's Air Mail was the fastest in the last Oceanic stage of the Atlantis Cup® 2023, which connected the islands of Terceira and Faial.
Three miles from the city of Horta, the Atlantis Cup® sailboats ran out of wind, with Air Mail gaining an advantage, cutting the line ahead of the rest of the fleet.
The stage Terceira – Faial ended the competition in the ANC and OPEN classes.
2Hot2Handle, by António Tânger Corrêa, won the Atlantis Cup® 2023 in the ANC class, followed by Babsea by Alexandre Couto. Carapau, by Bernardo Pinheiro, ends the Autonomy Regatta with third place in ANC.
The Atlantis Cup® 2023 is concluded in the OPEN class, with the victory of Allegro Vivace, by Bruno Rosa. In second place was Air Mail, followed by Carapau.
The ORC class ends tomorrow (Sunday) with the last technical regattas in “Cidade Mar” where the Azores Regional Cruise Sailing Champion will emerge.
The Atlantis Cup® 2023 is organized by the Clube Naval da Horta, in partnership with the Clube Naval de Santa Maria, Clube Naval de Ponta Delgada, Angra Iate Clube and Clube Náutico de Angra do Heroísmo, with the High Patronage of the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of the Azores.
