2Hot2Handle wins in Angra do Heroísmo and reinforces ORC leadership

Allegro Vivace is first in the OPEN class

The Atlantis Cup® 2023 ORC fleet held today (3 August), in Angra do Heroísmo, a set of three technical regattas.

With Monte Brasil as the backdrop, 2Hot2Handle (António Tânger Corrêa) won all of the day's regattas, reinforcing its leadership in the ORC classification. In second place is Noctiluca (André Azad) followed by the sailboat Madeinus (Laurent Pabion).

The NE wind, between 10 and 12 knots, allowed the scheduled regattas to take place, counting towards the Azores Regional Cruise Sailing Championship.

After completing the first two oceanic stages, Allegro Vivace (Bruno Rosa) leads the classification in the OPEN class, followed by the sailboats Soraya (Frederico Rodrigues) and Carapau (Bernardo Pinheiro).

2Hot2Handle, in addition to leading the ORC class, is in first place in ANC, followed by Babsea (Alexandre Couto) and Carapau.

The Atlantis Cup® 2023 is organized by the Clube Naval da Horta, in partnership with the Clube Naval de Santa Maria, Clube Naval de Ponta Delgada, Angra Iate Clube and Clube Náutico de Angra do Heroísmo, with the High Patronage of the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of the Azores.
